About Patola

Patola is known as one kind of Silk Cloth, which is popular in Patan of North Gujarat. Known as originally handcrafted, Patola Cloth is made and delivered only as per the direct order of customer. One of the secrets of Patola is while in preparing this, its design pattern are evolved on each thread. Different color and pattern are matched exactly on horizontal and vertical threads in weaving. Made by hand, Patola Saree measures 5.5 metres long and 4.0 feet wide.
